Today we had breakfast at the motell and I discovered something cooll! They have this chocolate stuff in a tube that you put on your toast! Now I can eat chocolate for breakfast lunch and dinner!
We packed up all our stuff and loaded it into the vehicles. Then we drove to Holmenkollen where we saw the ski jump that was used in the Olympics in 1994. After that we got on the road again and headed to the Viking Ship Museum. That was really interesting! Then we walked for what seemed like forever to the Kon-Tiki museum. It was about all the adventures of Thor Heyerdahl. After that we got in the car and went to our hotel…. which took awhile since the streets here are so congested and confusing! Finally we found it and unloaded everything. We went inside to check in only to find that only one of the rooms was ready. So we put all our luggage in that one room and then scoured the streets for a Peppe’s Pizza. We found one and went inside and was seated on the third floor. We ordered pepperoni and a meat lover’s pizza… and finished them both. After that we walked around for a bit, taking in the sights of Oslo. We meandered around the palace grounds and saw the guards perform their check. Then we saw the National Theater and the Parliament. Finally we made it back to the hotel, received our other room keys and went to our room for some rest and relaxation. We have a busy day tomorrow and I’ll try to write about it if I can!
